The beach is usually home to surfers and swimmers in the day and midnight joggers or stargazers at night. But not tonight. Now that the sun has set, an endless line of massive bonfires has taken over the beach. The fae are celebrating their holiday of Samhain with a dark masquerade. There's a tent for fortune telling, endless tables of treats, and all the faerie liquor you can drink. Just be careful because tonight, nothing is as it seems and everything you knew in the dark will be turned on it's head come morning.

Come and take a ride on one of the tallest Ferris wheels around and see the city of Seattle like never before! Standing at 175 feet, the Seattle Great Wheel can be found at Pier 57 on Elliott Bay and is a popular attraction spot for both locals and tourists. The best part? It's located along the coast of the bay and gives you a full view of neon-lit Seattle sprawling out before you.

The Space Needle observation deck is the best way to experience a 360 degree view of the wonderful Emerald City. When you take the 41 second ride up 520 feet, make sure to keep your nose to the windows. If the height hasn't made you lose your appetite, stop in for a bite at the Skycity restaurant for some savory treats. This tourist attraction is still pretty popular with the locals and, from time to time, you might see vampires testing their merits by jumping from the top. Don't be alarmed if they wave at you on the way down.

Welcome to the glasshouse. Wander through a garden of glass and flowers contrasting and blending. Or come inside into the dim lighting of the Interior Exhibits and experience vibrant flashes of color in the dark. Once you've feasted your eyes, take a break in the cafe and discuss the wonders of Chihuly Garden and glass with your friends over a double cappuccino before making your way to the built-in theater giving you little insights into Chihuly's masterpieces. We guarantee, you've never seen glass art like this.

Named one of the top five germiest tourist spots around, the Gum Wall is exactly what it sounds like: a brick wall of the Market Theater covered in layers and layers of used chewing gum. It is a sort of accidental attraction, as theater employees attempted to scrub the gum off twice before finally giving up. This rather sticky place is popular with tourists, ghost tours, and photographers. If you're not easily squicked out by old bubblegum, stop by and take a gander. Just don't get too close or you might get stuck.

The Seattle Public Library and it's thirty-three branches, you heard me - thirty-three branches, strive to bring books, books, and more books to the Seattle Community. So pick a corner of the library to curl up in to escape the heat or rain and grab a book. It's time to get lost in your imagination.

One of the most important things in Seattle is preserving nature. Boasting more than 485 parks throughout the city and surrounding area, forests and gardens are not uncommon in this state. So take a break from the concrete jungle and make your way into the lush green that covers this state. Go rollerblading, bike riding, or simply walk among the many trails to enjoy the sun while you can. Why not stop and smell the flowers? They are beautiful this time of year!

For emergencies like this or for instances where medical attention is needed, look no further! The doctors and nurses here are more than happy to assist you. Unless they are necromancers...Then I might try an herbalist shop instead.

Do you ever wonder what lurks just beneath the surface of your world? Well, here's your chance to find out! But those that manage to spot Seattle's version of Platform Nine and Three-Quarters will have an experience of a lifetime. So, take a step, don't be shy. We promise the things that lurk down here won't bite - unless they're hungry.

The Afterlife is literally one of the most exclusive bars found in or below Seattle. The Who's Who of the city often delve beneath the surface just for a taste of something special. Though the building itself has a modern feel, you'll find that the majority of the interior is made of wood and has a rather earthy vibe. For those wanting a little bit of privacy, there are rooms in the back reserved for VIPs. But for those not on that even more exclusive list don't worry, there's plenty of space at the bar. With live music and a magical menu, you'd swear there was something intoxicating in the air that makes it impossible to leave. Maybe that's because the bar itself is run by the Fae, creatures known to throw some pretty notorious parties.

Looking for something deviously special? A poisoned blade perhaps? Or maybe you simply seek the aid of an assassin so you don't have to bloody your own hands. Whatever it is you are searching for, if it's illegal or incredibly frowned upon, you can find it somewhere in the stalls of the Black Market. Despite it being a gathering of ruffians and thugs, do mind your manners. Those that dwell here don't exactly appreciate needless damage to their property.

Lot 665! Who will start the bidding? Whether you're searching for a pet or something far more unsavory, this is where you can find all manner of things being sold. Looking for a pretty blonde to have for dinner? Take a look at lot 693. There are lower levels to this auction house where any goods are kept, both living and not, before they are cleaned up and put on display. Try not to get lost down there or else someone might just put you up on the Auction Block.

Deep beneath the bowels of the city runs hundreds of pathways. A subterranean gallery. A mass tomb for the unwary traveler. This place is referred to simply as The Maze. Mostly abandoned, the Maze is a feature that is hardly used today as most Special Bloods no longer feel the need for secrecy. There are sections where the supports have become unstable and crumbled beneath the weight of the earth and other parts where the floor no longer exists. Only the brave or the incredibly foolish dare to even attempt navigating these catacombs. To venture here is to risk death as a sharp scratching is often heard, like claws dragging against stone, echoing in the darkness.

It is not just dank and dark that awaits a traveler beneath the surface of the earth. Hidden somewhere amidst the pathways and corridors dug deep into the stone there exists a hidden waterfall. It pours from the rocks with a mighty rush and fills a deep, seemingly bottomless pool of the darkest sapphire. Glowing moss and mushrooms sprout from the walls to light the cavern with a soothing green glow. The pool itself is absent of any sort of fish or water dwelling creatures, however shimmering crystals can be found along the deeper depths. So, if you're in need of a little cash, hold your breath and take a dive. Just don't go too deep. There are rumors that the walls of the pool shift and stretch, forever keeping the crystals just out of reach.

Follow the wooden path to the water's edge, but be careful that you don't fall in. Lose yourself in the soft lights lining the walkway, the murmur of a crowd left behind and allow yourself to be lulled by the soft sounds of waves crashing against shore. Whether you're taking a stroll with your pooch, friends or sweetheart; Seattle's boardwalks will dazzle you with each step until you reach the end of the line.

Take your boat for a spin or just set anchor and come ashore. The Hiram M. Chittenden Locks were originally operated by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, but since being registered a historic place in 1978 – the canal waters have found themselves home to both commercial and recreational vessels, as well as your not so run of the mill water loving supernatural.

Looking for a day of fun in the sun? Well, look no further! Seattle offers a boatload of beaches, bays, and ocean views. Why not spend the day building sandcastles or learning to surf in the warm coastal waters? You can even rent paddleboards or go whale watching! Be sure and bring your sunscreen though. Even on overcast days you can find your nose getting burned if you aren't careful.

Been bitten by the Travel Bug? It's ok, that happens to the best of us and, despite the utter rudeness of said Bug, it pays to take advantage of the wanderlust it brings. There's so much in the world to see and so little time. From the ruins of Rome to the streets of Seoul, go out and see everything you can! And try the food. Seriously that is the best part. We recommend trying the haggis in Scotland. Don't know what that is? Good. Don't ask. Just eat.

Time is not as linear as we'd like to believe. It twists and knots itself into a rather nasty pretzel that is impossible to unravel. So why not take a look into the past or delve into the potential future? Or, for the particularly daring, imagine an alternate world where your characters are different from who they are now. All manners of stories can be played out here, it's just a matter of deciding where to start!
